Oh it is so dreadfully early in the morning. I’m so tired I’m not yet sure how I feel. The race starts at 7:45 am (I thought it was 8, but luckily was told the correct time). With 2275 registered people I’ll have to get there early, and I wanted to nibble a bit before the race, so my alarm was set (the really cool iHome that my iPod plugs in to).

If you are out on the course, I’ll be the guy wearing a bright red shirt (from the MJ8k) with blue shorts and white socks. All American if you will.

My nose is running. I’m sneezing. I hope this is just a twinge of allergies and not the plague that has shut down half the schools around here.

Note: Current weather is a balmy 62 with a few clouds floating around. On the radar a few small showers seem to be about 40 minutes outside of town, but rapidly dissipating. Wind is gusting up around 24 mph. Looks like a windy one. Will we be running in to the wind when we hit the Martha Jefferson hill?
