Does anoop live in C-Ville? If so, he would be a village legend – a TV watcher. I’ve heard about them, but didn’t think there were any.

Cletus, you forgot about the cigarette that the people on the sofa (with pork rinds) have in their hand at all times while trying to burn down the house.

Narrowing must see TV list? Never. TV is the education of today.

Out of that list I’ll watch Smallville. Not much on “network TV” I watch anymore. I think the cable and satellite providers should offer a’la carte shows. Considering how few I watch a month and how much I pay to have full access, I’d be better off financially and have more free time. I actually get annoyed by television commercials, especially local TV. I don’t listen to the radio because it is so full of advertising. I am all for getting rid of local TV channels and radio altogether. (Except for public access TV. You should get your own show, Doc!)

I enjoy Veronica Mars – ans sometimes 7th Heaven – they are part of my slowly getting narrower – want to see list. I don’t watch news – have google and yahoo – period.

Without exception, local TV ‘news’ in any market is the most useless possible application of television technology. It’s simply an opportunity to sell advertising time to depressing local businesses. A large percentage of the ‘viewership’ are helpless nursing home invalids and those who have fallen asleep on the sofa underneath a bag of pork rinds. OK, I feel better now. Thanks, Doc!
