It seems like a year or two since the last episode of The O.C. aired. Characters were killed, writers and execs have changed, and the show will now be at 9pm on Thursday against the powerhouse Grey’s Anatomy, so I’m guessing the ratings won’t go through the roof.

In the past it never had great ratings, but it was the place to be if you were young and spent money. Can it regain the impact it had during its first year? Doubtful. Can it manage to stay on the FOX schedule this year? I’ll decide tomorrow.

Meanwhile…in my poll I’ve had up for awhile a clear majority has emerged. Stuck in the village. Never believe the results of a survey. There is always a margin of error!
