I stressed my brain a bit much this week. A Canuck (you know who you are!) made me drink too much in an effort to debrain. Now I’m a wee bit tipsy. Drink lots of water and go to bed. Get up and run a 5k in record cold temperatures. Something tells me I won’t break the 21 minute mark on this race. As a matter of fact, sleeping in might feel better than running…but you know how it goes…at least I won’t run past my abode like I used to in my last apartment. Then I would just think about my bed…that never helped my time.
I’ll let you know how it goes.

Going with the flow, as it were – is the only way to go. You will do what you do when you do it – cha cha cha…
Enjoy.
So, how many Long Island Iced Teas did it take?
(do you still drink those?)
Grey Goose is my drink of choice…often in a martini. During the 2nd mile I was regretting that last shot.
We set a record low last night (NOAA showed a temp of 21 just before the race) so the race was rather cold. Time of 21:37…so not too bad.
Hot damn – you’re good – well, so much for sleepin’ in, eh?
What is Grey Goose? Who shot it?
So my fiendish plan to thwart your time trial fails — despite the massive quantities of the migrating Goose I quote unquote made you imbibe, and the cold Canadian weather I sent your way.
Oh well. I shall retreat for now back to the winter wonderland, so that i can come up with a new diabolical scheme. Until then, my friend. Stay warm.
Debrain, what is debrain.
