Report from a tipster:
Several people were out on the street (in the historic north downtown portion of C-Ville) watching at least four ABC tree trimming trucks. One guy was up in the bucket trimming and a snap, pop, sizzle, bang was heard. A big, thick power line running to to a house was lying across the hood of a car, as well as a pipe that had been ripped from the wall, which had hit the front hood of the car.
No electricity for a few downtowners.
Another typical day in the village.

Actually, I didn’t see anyone watching–I was working directly across the street at home. I’m very glad I moved my car when they started working! The humorous aspect of the whole thing was hearing another guy shout, “that’s the second time you’ve done that!”
