I was able to get alcohol all night! Maybe I was lucky, but I was served strong drinks after 11PM and after 12AM and again after 1AM. And I was in the non-VIP area. Sorry your luck was not better. I did hear rumors that alcohol was out, but I never saw proof.
I had no trouble getting alcohol until well after the Artini winner was announced; non-VIP certainly. I was told that the set of early martinis was out (for lack of ingredients, other than vodka) by 10pm so they started the second set early. I thought it was a great party. Peartinis rock! Great hoops shot!
