They had a sign ON the bus saying, "We will not be operating on Memorial Day." I am sure that is a good thing, because the poor and disabled and those of us who don't have a working vehicle at the time (or just can't afford a second mortgage for a tank of gas) don't deserve to celebrate the holiday, listen to the music or roast a weenie at the town band-shell. (Magic Marshmallow in your case.) Good thing my big truck, with 12 MPG (downhill) is working today! I guess that makes me more patriotic!! I rode the bus (Iowa) last week.
