For those that missed it Charlottesville almost got eradicated due to a near nuclear meltdown at our local reactor.
Although the exact reason for the meltdown was not provided, some believe it was caused by ghosts.
In an effort to avoid the eradication of the village in the future a massive protest was staged on the historic downtown mall yesterday afternoon. Police had a difficult time maintaining control as the crowds started screaming that we should go back to the old “TJ days” when someone would just use a big fan to keep you cool.

What boobs. Are the people with the fancy drink straws in the picture students from UVA? Nuclear is safe and reliable. A lot more people are harmed by the polution and direct hazards of other energy production methods, and the public has a real misconception about nuclear. Too bad, because it could be a good way to get us off oil in the very near future if we had a president who pushed for it.
Glad to hear you also have your share of idjits who believe in ghosts. I think the Neilsen ratings is an indication that pop culture in this country is far from rational. Superstition trumps science and flash beats substance. Entertainment is fine, but why is critical thinking such a rare thing these days? It seems people who believe in ghosts and people who protest nuclear power have the same disease.
