The downtown ACAC just slapped a red sign on the front door this morning saying they won’t open till noon with no cause or explanation.
One tipster said it was due to a mysterious white substance found in the kids room. Of course, the tipster also said it was right next to a baby powder bottle, so no one should be concerned.
Anyone have any true explanation (since that tipster has been unreliable as of late)? Perhaps the construction nearby busted a pipe.
Although they didn’t post it in the gym, on the ACAC website they announced a few days ago that there would be a scheduled power outage because of the nearby construction.
They’ve been announcing it in the gym since Saturday about the closing and the power outage. I was accosted no fewer than three times Saturday and twice Monday. They’ll be open an noon today, they hope.
Seems as if no one I know heard about it. I guess you have to be with the “in” crowd around here (aka kids and church).
