After what seems like an infinite number of weeks, Lost has finally shown a new episode. It is back. As is so often the case they show a very interesting story, but only a bit of information is actually given to the viewer. The scenes from next week make you WANT to see the next episode.
The show is brilliant in the fact that it shows the life of people in tiny little slices, and no matter how many slices we see, you really don’t know what the character is all about. For almost any other show the weekly slices of life let you know exactly what/who the character represents.
ABC has a true hit. Can it continue? For most every show in history, the introduction of a baby makes the show jump the shark. Will the brutally annoying baby kill Lost? Or will something on the island kill the baby? Only the next three weeks will let us know the answer to this one.
Great! I never thought about the whole baby thing bringing on the jump the shark phenomenon. Of course my little friend TiVo is holding tonight’s episode for me until I get a chance to watch it.
I do agree that the way the show slowly unwinds the characters is a great twist that keeps you hooked and unsure of “who” each person really is.
