The Dolphins once again looked like chopped liver in a meat factory. It wasn’t pretty. The score was close, but every time the Fins tried to throw it looked like me trying to throw. Of course, I am not an NFL QB. Next week we play New England who loves to punish us, and I don’t think St. Nick will make a change before that game.
However, if Gus doesn’t start bringing some “life” in to the offense, I have a feeling Sage “Rosemary” Rosenfels will be starting in Thyme for the Cleveland game.
If New England loses tomorrow night, the Fins are still only one game out of first place in the AFC East. That is sad. Of course, I really want NE to win, since Indy must go down…the 72 Fins Perfect Season must live on.
Other than the Fins getting crushed, the day has been pretty decent…nothing “bad” has happened!

Now that I am rooting for the ponies, I want the Pats to loose tomorrow night. At least THAT game I can see! Now that I have the default LOCAL content from DTV, I don’t get the right and left coasts and rarely see anything outside of Vikings/Bears/Rams on Sunday. Or, some other crappy game.
I feel what you’re saying about ‘72. We’ll see. I don’t think Indy has it in them to go all the way without a loss. But, they can still win their division and have a shot in the post-season. It sure helps to have a team that you WANT to support, when they look ugly (year after year) it is really hard. Maybe if I had a roommate who could sit around on Sunday in his bathrobe and shout at the TV through an orange cone, then I could believe in miracles.
Moin RP,
I actually saw the Dolphins a couple of weeks ago play a really lousy game against the Chiefs. Ricky played actually pretty good, he had some great blocks, although he only rueshed for -1 yard. Not sure why Saban does not give him the ball more often. The Fins have no QB, and their once strong defense iis either getting old or tired.
Oh yes, I did manage to find gas on my way back, something we Floridians don’t take for granted anymore….. Maybe I should look for a job in a small midwestern town??
Anyway, it was fun to be at the game and it took my mind of yet another hurricane trying to rip the roof off our house… It was raining real hard during the 2hour drive to the stadium and again in the way back, but not at all during the game
Cheers,
Michael
Hey MF, at least you got to see the game. I pay my arm and leg for DirecTV and they will never show anything that gets moved from the Sunday slots, so I took a 7 day free trial and listened to it on the web. It was definitely a painful game.
I agree that Ricky was really looking good when he got the ball, but the line really seemed worse than usual. The line has picked up lately, but my oh my their are so many issues. Next year will be far more entertaining, although we could share the AFC East lead with a win this Sunday.
Always fun to live in a hurricane-ridden climate, which can only get worse with our planet getting warmer! I see a Category 6 rolling in any day now, or maybe Category 7…just like the CBS mini-series
