On a warm sunny afternoon a beautiful young model sat on the mall and promoted a vegan/vegetarian way of life. This was her 6th (and last) stop on the tour and it went off as scheduled at noon as was first reported by The Hook. She thought this was much nicer than Lansing where it was 7 degrees during the protest.
There were more police and journalists than onlookers due to the fact that it was a nearly perfect day for outdoor lunch dining. I hope no one was eating any meat.
There were no naked supporters on hand to join her in protest? What a shame - I guess. Didn’t she have under wear on? the tiny kind, that is. Leave it you to get close ups.

I have never been very impressed with PETA, but she might change my mind! From what I can see, she has a couple good points!
PETA does go overboard sometimes - but they do make good sense - most of the time.
I am not a cow/pig eater and very rarely eat salmon or chicken. Working my way back to Vegan. I do mind the senseless testing done on animals - spraying of perfume in bunnies and cats eyes to see if they have a reaction - plus the horrible things done to dogs and chimpanzes - all in the name of science. Veal farms - I won’t go into that - If you have every worked at a teaching hospital and had to make trips to the labs - push a button and up comes dogs in formaldahyde - ahhh!
I don’t condemn folks whose choose meat - but it would be nice if - at the least they could do - say a prayer of thanks to the spirit of the animal for giving their lives to nourish us…!
