A few weeks ago brand new trash cans appeared on the downtown mall. They are rather modern and sleek, and are also held in to the ground via posts in cement. Since then the old trash cans sat beside them, feeling inadequate. This morning they were taken away to the trash can farm, so I guess we won’t be seeing them again.
