Today I watched two trees in my yard get taken down by a tree guy. One had died a year ago. The other was actually a hedge that had grown in to a tree sized beast. Tomorrow the new shrubbery goes in (say that with Monty Python slant). Springtime and home ownership…the joy of it all.

Why does my to do list just keep growing. In the next week: run 10 miler, get taxes done (ugh…long story), work on improving social life (infinite challenge…one date might be a nice way to start), start keeping track of house expenses for taxes next year, be sure to be set for wedding trip to DC, get server moved to Mac mini, debate what next poll question will be, work, watch King Kong, get excited about Dolphins playing first NFL game of season and T-day game, plan a vacation or two for the year, shopping for food tomorrow, do laundry (very high priority list), give doc a call for appt, get cavity dealt with, update my photo of the day, pay bills, drive first nails into walls of my house to hang photos, buy curtains, buy bed, buy some minimalistic furniture, shave, watch Lost, respond to emails, find someone to do a bit of house siding work (or learn myself), read my Photoshop book that I bought the other day, write up a sequence of posts about dating in the village, buy a new iMac for myself, buy a new inhouse computer desk, find a financial advisor, find a tax person to look at my taxes (when I get them done), go to sleep…now!

I think it is time to burn my list…or maybe wait till after the 10 miler on Saturday.
