I can’t take it anymore…why hasn’t Apple released an updated iMac this year? I want to buy a new one, but not until a new one comes out. Nothing new since January 10th.
My antiquated home dual-800 (with 3 17inch CRT’s) is no longer usable in the real-world (aka Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, Director MX2004, iPhoto, iMovie, etc.). RIP. I want a 20inch iMac with a second 23 inch monitor attached.

Nothing new out there today…just lots of rumors that “something” may get introduced around Sept 5th….but no one really knows what.
Apple is also going to be at the Photo thingy in Germany at the end of September…maybe a new version of Aperture.
Check out my site - a few caveats regarding Apple. I love my iMac - but there is the corporate BS et al - that has given me grief - and a few other folks around the world.
Do Not let it stop you from the iMac - but I have a feeling you are better able to handle them - cause YOU are not a WOMAN…!
That does sound like a bad iMac. They seem to have a few quality issues lately. We ordered one here at work and the monitor had a large melted region on it. We got that replaced and it had a minor melted region. Since the computer was just for testing purpposes we chose to ignore that. If it had been for me it would have gone back yet again.
I have been very fortunate. In RPG terms, I rolled high with my G5 iMac and picked a winner. I’d be very ticked if my new Mac had as many problems as I had with my last computer, a 1995 Power Computing (Mac 8500 clone).

- Especially since I worked so hard to get it - and I love it - but it’s their damnable attitude at Apple’s Customer Care - I REALLY am not done with them YET. Been thru it with Lea’s and my computers - hammer time -…! Whoo Hoo!
