My new iMac baby left Shanghai, China this morning and has landed in Anchorage, Alaska. It will probably be stuck there for a full day as it makes it through customs. Current estimate is for arrival this Friday!
Can you guess what I’ll be playing with all weekend?
PS. The new iTunes looks really cool (at least the 3D-ish look of spinning through your CD covers). The lack of HD/widescreen iPod was rather disappointing, but the new iTV thingy has some hope. The stock price trickled up after the announcement so that was good (for me).
What size did you get? I will hate you if it is the 24incher (which I secretly think you ordered..)

Oh yeah, 2 feet of screen. 24 big inches. It has now left Anchorage. I wonder where the next stop for FedEx is?
I got the higher end graphics card, 2 gig of ram, and the 1/2 terrabyte HD (aka 500G). I skipped on the processor upgrade though. The 7% jump in speed didn’t feel up to the 12% jump in price.
Is it Friday yet? I’ll now watch Men in Trees to kill some time.
Overnight it made it to Indianapolis, IN and has already moved along.
