With all the shootings, stabbings, and robberies here in the village over the past few days the Daily Regress ran a lovely article about it. In it they mentioned another crime I hadn’t heard about.

Early Saturday morning, Charlottesville authorities charged a city man with cutting a woman with a pair of scissors.

I wonder if he had recently seen Running With Scissors. In any event, the summary of the article said, “We’ve had a slightly higher number of domestics [this weekend], but nothing drastic.” I guess the gang activity of teenage shooting is normal. I guess finding a dead man outside of the Salvation Army is normal. Can you imaging a drastic week? So Very Virginia.
