So the wind made it up over 18 mph today. You know what that means…power outage. Currently more than 5000 people out of the 40,000 in the village have no juice (as the old expression goes).
Outskirts may not last much longer…batteries can only last for so long.
I hate this primitive village. I’d better go build a fire, sharpen my knife, and make sure I have a really big club. Bang bang, out go the lights.
PS. If power isn’t restored within one hour it may be the last of my days in this primitive region.
PPS. Why is it that I lived in many different places in the United States (bigger and smaller) and never experienced this many power outages. Must..kill…brain…to…enjoy…village…
