Panic has set in. Schools are closing. At least three flakes hit my face while I walked to work. Local authorities are begging locals to stay off the roads (oh…wait…that is every single day). Supermarket lines are out of control. Riot prevention squads are out in force.
See it all for yourself over at The U Hoo (not the drink) or on the historic downtown mall (where salt trucks are already busy).

Are you ready for disastrous weather on Wednesday? Panic has already begun at the stores. Bread and milk are almost gone.
Forecast: 1 to 2 inches of snow. My prediction: 5 minutes of flurries.
I’ll be sure to keep you up to date on the tragedy that is sure to ensue. It has been eons since we’ve had such extreme weather. Remember Ernesto destroying the mall? The damage from that storm can still be seen all over the mall.

Apparently the powers that be feel that there are not enough wine bars around here. VaVino got renamed Erotica, Siip is moving to the other end of the mall, and Crush will open this weekend in Belmont.
What is up with the names of these places? What should we name the next few? Sniff. Spit. Swallow. Hmm…
Meanwhile, I think all life has been crushed out of me. My entire goal for the day was to get up, get things done at work, and then go running at the gym. I did the first. The second was the daily nightmare. During the day I went and bought milk so I could eat cereal. I also went and bought some wine (the main thread of this story). I didn’t want to carry both things home, so I grabbed the wine. I would get the milk after the gym.
Well…I got home and just don’t have the energy to go to the gym. I’d rather just curl up in a ball in a corner with a blanket. Since I didn’t go to the gym I decided to eat some cereal. I have no milk. Oh well…cereal with water. No gym. Nothing productive. I’m getting so out of shape and putting on the pounds. Tomorrow I’ll be trying to do the same three things. How many will I get done?
I think I need something they will sell at Crush. Or maybe I just need some Crush.

It is really hard to comprehend how bad the Fins are. I’m sure all the 76 Bucs are getting ready to pop a cork at the end of this season.
When does the 2008 schedule come out? I need to start looking for the first game that the Fins could win. Do they get to play Duke next year? Or maybe Notre Dame. Or a bad middle school team.
Watch out New England. 14-0 Pats vs. 0-14 Fins. That has all the makings of a 100 point blowout by the Pats, or the biggest upset in the history of the NFL. Has there ever been a 28 game differential between two football teams (at ANY level)? My guess is no. And at the end of that game…a 30 game differential. Wow.
I sure hope some other team wants Adrian Peterson, cause the Fins need to make a trade for 20 or so players/draft picks. Grim. Ugly. Brutal. Misery. More or less like living in C-Ville.
