Time to order a sparkling fresh 24inch iMac. Mmmmm.

I can’t take it anymore…why hasn’t Apple released an updated iMac this year? I want to buy a new one, but not until a new one comes out. Nothing new since January 10th.
My antiquated home dual-800 (with 3 17inch CRT’s) is no longer usable in the real-world (aka Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, Director MX2004, iPhoto, iMovie, etc.). RIP. I want a 20inch iMac with a second 23 inch monitor attached.
Hey Apple…release something so I’ll buy!!!!!! Please…pretty please…
For anyone that has ever gotten a Mac we already know the truth, but here is a pretty funny article showing that every year you spend five times more trying to keep the PC running.
Get smart. Buy a Mac.
PS I do own a bit of Apple stock ![]()
Does anything of interest ever happen in this village in August? Ugh. Boredom has settled in.
At least football season is almost here. Can the Fins make it back to the playoffs? Will UVA finish last in the ACC? Can Michigan have a successful season? Can the Spartans win a few games?
How will the new TV season be? What will win, what will lose? Since I am a great prognosticator of which shows are good, I’ll give you my word on the new lineup as things get released. Studio 60 is really high on my must see list.
Are you ready for Snakes on a Plane? With all the security restrictions can you even get a snake on a plane?
When will Apple next update the iMac? I’ll be buying one as soon as they are announced. Maybe at the Paris Expo…or maybe then they’ll pump out the new video iPod (of course I need one of those also as soon as it goes widescreen).
If the village vanished would anyone even notice?
I was commenting on my most recent Netflix flicks and noticed a little button on my queue screen that said “Add a queue,” so I clicked it and then chose Learn more. After reading about the wishlist feature (no movies will ship from it) I clicked to add the queue but was told the feature doesn’t yet exist.
I went back to my main queue and the Add button was gone. Looks like I stumbled on to a new feature that is getting ready to roll out. Screenshots are below.

Always a bit sad when an innovator passes away. The number of movies that relied on “blue screen” technology can’t be counted. One of the movies that always pops in to my mind when I think of the technology is North by Northwest that was released in 1959, the same decade that blue screen was developed. Technology is amazing.
Since my legs are so tired today (actually just my calves are killing me) I got my server for this domain moved from a rapidly aging old iMac to a super cute refurbed Mac Mini. Without a doubt the cutest server ever (computer that is…). It even looks good with a martini sitting on top of it.
Hopefully the site will be a happy camper for several years.
So what will Apple announce tomorrow? Everyone wants to know! I think I may end up ordering a new iMac tomorrow, and maybe a new video iPod (if they actually announce the long rumored full screen iPod).
Trying to play with lots of photos on my cute little iBook makes that a bit tough, and I can’t stand dealing with my old CRT’s that I have on my old school dual G4 beast. Now the question will be should I go with the new Intel version, or a refurbed version of the model from 1.5 months ago. Decisions, decisions. Maybe I should try to get my taxes finished first (although it looks promising).
I’m going for the upgrade to the latest WordPress. We’ll see what breaks ![]()
I updated the RIN style sheet a bit today to the latest version, and changed a few things in the sidebar. Was this for any reason? No. Should I even bother playing with any of this stuff? Probably not.
Geeks can be easily amused.
